About
Alex Barrera
Corporate event host, deep tech advisor, and pitch coach. Based in Madrid. Twenty years at the intersection of technology, storytelling, and business.
The short version
What I actually do
I run the Deep Tech Institute as Founder & Director, work with European deep tech funds on deal flow and due diligence, and write every week at The Aleph. Before that I co-founded tech.eu (acquired) and the Tetuan Valley accelerator.
Through Press42 I host conferences and corporate rooms, keynote on deep tech, and coach fundraising decks. Same thread in all three: make the technical stuff legible to the people who have to decide.
MBA from Escuela de Organización Industrial (EOI). Former Global Shaper (World Economic Forum). Guest lecturer at UCLA Anderson, UC Berkeley, and UC3M.
